Dreamcatcher

Philly-based folk and more

Dreamcatcher is a husband-wife duo consisting of Caitlin Sigler (keyboards, vocals) and Dave Escoffery (guitar, ukulele, vocals). Caitlin is also the lead singer of the trans-Atlantic shoegaze band Hermosa (see hermosaband.com), and Dave releases music as Dr. Dave.

Caitlin started learning piano as a young girl on her great-grandmother's grand piano, rescued from Germany during WWII, the same piano that now sits in our living room! A talented songwriter and singer, Caitlin is working on her first solo album and recently released her third album with Hermosa.

Dave was steeped in punk, new wave, ska, and alternative music his entire life, and he writes folk-punk songs that take a humorous approach to serious issues. He sings and plays guitar, ukulele, and (if you ask nicely) alto sax.

As Dreamcatcher, Caitlin and Dave focus on songs that have beautiful harmonies, and they love playing both originals and covers that really engage the crowd. Expect to hear everything from The Monkees and Modern English to Nirvana and P!nk. If the song is fun and there's an opportunity for cool harmonies, Dreamcatcher wants it in their repertoire!
